Meet the Horses

Here at Beracah Valley, we are so blessed to have a farm full of  beautiful horses. Our horses are all different ages, sizes, and breeds. The majority of our horses are currently being used in our lesson program, and others are retired, or boarded by their owners.

Our lesson horses come in all levels, from beginner, intermediate, to advanced. This way we have a perfect match for each of our students to learn to ride on and advance to different horses over time!

Our horses are all very versatile, knowing many different disciplines such as english, western, jumping, and are all trained with a dressage foundation.

Below are just a look at some of our horses.  We hope that you enjoy looking at our horses and would love for you to come get a chance to meet and ride them!

Annie

Hi, my name is Annie! I am a Haflinger mare and I love teaching little kids how to ride. I am usually the first pony that young students will ride when first coming to the barn! I can do english, western, and a little bit of jumping! Students also love to ride me bareback! My favorite thing is letting students groom and style my beautiful long mane and tail!

I am a very calm and down-to-earth type of horse who takes very good care of his riders. I do english, western, and speed events! I am everyone's favorite horse for bareback riding! A fun fact about me is that I have a mustache, but only on half of my lip!

"Big" Ace

Hi, my name is Ace! I am a Draft Cross gelding. I am the biggest horse at the farm! I used to be an Amish plow horse before coming here to be a lesson horse. I am still learning the ropes of the job but am picking up on it quickly! I am known as the gentle giant around the barn and love getting rubbed on my chest and neck.

Hi, my name is Sweetie! I am a Paint mare. I am the tallest pony in the barn (just an inch shy of being a horse) and the youngest lesson horse. I do both english and western, however, I am really good at western pleasure with my super smooth jog and lope. I also give great bareback rides. My favorite thing is getting sugar cubes from the students and being with my best friend Clyde!
